A proud moment unfolded for Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) as it welcomed representatives from the Center for Philippine-Business Collaboration and Exchange (CPBCEX) for an initial dialogue regarding its application for the CLARE-ASEAN research program. CPBCEX, a key player in promoting business-academic partnerships, is instrumental in facilitating the partnership’s participation in the CLARE-ASEAN program. This vital meeting marked a significant step toward enhancing research opportunities and fostering partnerships in the region’s agricultural innovation.
During the engagement, led by prominent CPBCEX officials, the delegation participated in insightful discussions with TAU's academic leaders, researchers, and administrative staff. The conversations focused on eligibility requirements, potential research topics, and collaborative frameworks essential for TAU's successful involvement in the CLARE-ASEAN initiative.
With a strong commitment to agricultural advancement and innovation, TAU views the CLARE-ASEAN program as a critical pathway to increasing its influence on local and regional farming communities. This initiative, with its potential to strengthen Southeast Asian sustainable and resilient agricultural practices, provides additional funding and resources for groundbreaking research projects, offering hope for a more sustainable future.
Throughout the discussions, TAU's representatives shared valuable insights into the university's ongoing research efforts. These include innovative techniques in smart farming, the development of climate-resilient crops through genetic modification, and the implementation of sustainable agribusiness models that promote environmental conservation. In response, CPBCEX offered guidance on developing proposals and strategies for building partnerships that align research objectives with ASEAN's sustainability and food security goals.
Dr. Amy Lizbeth J.
